ARMA QUILTED FABRIC

QUILTING is the process of sewing two layers of fabric together with fiber, felt, polyester etc. batting by use of multi-needle quilting machines with the option of creating diverse quilt patterns.

Quilting machines do this job continously and smoothly without framing the fabric on a fixed frame; and unprocessed fabric is fastly sewed step by step while it goes through the machine. The latest technology machinery is capable of embroidering a single layered fabric by materials such as thick yarn, ribbon, sequin. Quilting is also made by processing fiber of varying weights. The product obtained by sewing fabric and fiber together and patterning them, is called quilted fabric. Quilting can be made using various fabrics and fillers. It is possible to quilt not only a single piece of fabric, but also patchwork fabrics obtained by sewing together several pieces of fabrics with geometric patterns like diamond, square, rectangle, triangle, star.
